Loose, Wet, Perforated Studio Album

Although born in 1976, Vines has a strong knowledge of the experimental works that were in vogue a little before his time and does his thing without homage or using tracing paper. More a kitchen sink production than a pots and pans exercise, if you like modern music that hits it out of the park, this left leaning nu classical set is really going to float your boat. On October 1st and 2nd, 2016 we took up residence at the world-class Blue Jay Studios to produce a studio recording of “Loose, Wet, Perforated” by Nicholas Vines and throughout the rest of the season collaborated with the composer and engineer Joel Gordon on the editing and mastering of the final product.

It will be commercially released October 13, 2017 on Navona Records, a classical label imprint of PARMA Recordings. PARMA has a distribution partnership with Naxos, which includes international digital and physical distribution as well as access to numerous streaming libraries.

This recording is made possible through the generosity of our Indiegogo donors, Nicholas Vines, Timothy & Jane Gillette and John Loder.
