Co-Artistic Director, Aliana de la Guardia leads you through a rejuvenating movement exploration. We will need it after the stress of the election! This exploration encourages awareness, openness and quick thinking, utilizing movements techniques that explore important theatrical concepts of time and space to develop flexibility, articulation, strength in physicality. This Workshop is 90 minutes in duration and an affordable $10.00!

The second Saturday of every month you have more opportunity to interact with our artists and designers in friendly, bite-sized pieces! You don’t have to know anything about opera! We welcome all to participate!

Here are some guidelines and considerations to help you prepare for the class: 

• Wear clothes to move in. Secure hair away from eyes, if long. Bare feet (as appropriate for your space).

• No eating during class, but do have water and hydrate as needed.

• We will do a warm up in each class, but know your body and take care of yourself during class. Modify your actions as needed in your space.

• Situate yourself in as private a space as possible. Try to make sure the background of where you are sitting is as uncluttered as possible, within reason. Try not to have a strong light or window behind you as face the screen, you will be silhouetted if so.

• Please do not travel with your device throughout your home during class, it can be very distracting.

• Classes will be held on Zoom. The link will be send to you on Saturday, the morning of the class and it will be open 15min before class. Class will begin promptly. Please be on time for the start of the class. The sessions are short and we need every minute!  

• You will probably see a message on Zoom saying something like 'please wait until your host admits you' when you sign on at the start of the session.  Don’t worry if you don’t see the teacher immediately - they will let you in!

• The sessions will culminate in a small informal performance for some of the Guerillas!
