Guerilla Opera’s Educational Department and the Perkins Braille and Talking Book Library present “The History of the Computer and the Power of Storytelling''. This workshop investigates the creators of the first computer through the new work “The Thrilling Adventures of Lovelace and Babbage”. We will explore their stories and lives and discover how storytelling can give power and help to contextualize history and the lives of those around us.
The evening features open-ended discussion, analysis of story and adaptation, and a preview of Guerilla Opera’s upcoming production of “The Thrilling Adventures of Lovelace and Babbage”.
