Community Series: Haverhill Public Library "The History of the Computer and the Power of Storytelling''

Guerilla Opera’s Educational Department presents “The History of the Computer and the Power of Storytelling''. This workshop, hosted by the Haverhill Public Library's Virtual Events, takes a look into the creators of the first computer through the new work “The Thrilling Adventures of Lovelace and Babbage”. We will explore their stories and lives and look at how storytelling can give power and help to contextualize history and the lives of those around us.

The evening features open-ended discussion, analysis of story and adaptation, and a preview of Guerilla Opera’s upcoming production of “The Thrilling Adventures of Lovelace and Babbage”.
