We will explore their stories and lives and look at how storytelling can give power and help to contextualize history and the lives of those around us.

In partnership with the Haverhill Public Library and led by Guerilla Opera’s Artistic Associate, Maggi Chauby, we will explore what the word "home" means to people through the new opera "I Give You My Home". Is home a place, or a feeling? Is it a collection of objects? Please bring an object that feels like the word "home" to share and discuss during this event.

A first listen to a new comedic opera in which Ada Lovelace and Charles Babbage, the true-life unsung inventors of the first computer, use their invention to "fight crime" in an alternative universe!

In partnership with the Haverhill Public Library and led by Guerilla Opera’s Artistic Associate, Maggi Chauby, we will look at the different ways composers score contemporary opera pieces. We will compare them and explore what elements of music are center stage in each opera. Then, you will get the opportunity to create your own kind of musical notation.
