Sessions are limited to 15 participants max. Session I and Session II are identical, we’re just giving you some choice with your schedule!
This “Guerilla” intensive is designed to expand your creative mind, and to develop awareness, openness and quick thinking. Using Viewpoints, an improvisational technique from the post-modern dance world, you will explore important theatrical concepts of time and space and learn to create powerful work quickly. The spontaneous interactions from a group train our sense of play as well as build ensemble. It develops flexibility, articulation, strength in movement, and makes ensemble-generated work really possible! This workshop is for everyone seeking a safe and open place to play and learn! Join us! Max 15 per session!

Guerilla Opera offers discounts to workshops and masterclasses for any alumni of our programs! To qualify for this discount you need to have attended at least one of the following:
Guerilla Lab participants (all)
Guerilla Opera – Writing for Chamber Opera Class at The Boston Conservatory at Berklee
Residency at Brandeis University (2014 or 2019-2020)
Residency at University of Memphis (2014 or 2019-2020)
Workshops led by Guerilla Opera members or alumni at other institutions do not qualify you for this discount. THIS IS AN HONOR SYSTEM: Please only use the discount if it is appropriate to you. We will be checking our records against enrollment, so please save us the trouble and only use the discount that is appropriate for you.
